You see that face, people? That’s the face of the woman who scored the bag she’s been hunting for four months!!!
Last year, I got a first look at Marks & Spencer’s new collection at the press day in London and while I loved the whole look and feel of the collection and was excited for spring, there was one bag that I nearly swiped from the samples table. This Aztec number is the bag of my dreams. This isn’t an exaggeration. One look and it was seared on my brain. Only problem was I had to wait a significant amount of time to get it.
Fast forward to March and I’m strolling through M&S, actually to pick up a sandwich for lunch, and I spy a woman putting together a display. She had THE BAG. I run over to the display unit, ask if said bag is for sale and she says, “yes, I’m just pulling them out now.” Ladies and gents, I walk away with the display. The poor woman doesn’t even have time to get me fresh stock. This is how insane I was over this particular piece. And there’s good news. The bag, very surprisingly, has not sold out yet. It’s available to buy now and ready for some serious fashion love, the world over. Now that mine rests safely in the closet, I can take a deep breath again!
