I swear to you I’ve walked past this store a thousand times, while living in the USA, and never once thought about going in to see if there might be something fabulous on offer for the home. And then one day I decide to give it a go and I’m smacking myself over the potential bargains I’ve missed in decorating my various flats over the past decade and a half.
Of course I’m speaking of Pottery Barn Teen. You see where I’m going here? I’m in my 30s. Even in my 20s, I wouldn’t have thought about checking out a store that is deliberately marked for teens. Then the Emily & Merritt Collection launched, and yes this blew my tiny little mind. From the golden bow chair to the insane bookcases, I have fallen head over heels with it all. So, naturally I’m sharing. There are too many fantastic pieces here not to share. As you can probably guess, my first purchase was the webbed feet lamp. If that isn’t made for FFG, I don’t know what is.
