Style Update: Winter White (ok, and a bit of grey)

Let’s just put this out there – it’s hard to wear light colours in London in the winter time. The combination or rain, snow, slush and general tube dust takes any white garment and instantly gives it a new shade of grey. We’re not talking a fabulous rich grey. We’re talking dingy and dirty. So for the sake of being completely honest, I’ll be the first to admit that the outfit shown above is a cab to curb look only. I wouldn’t dare wear solo on public transport or for a walk in the park. It just wouldn’t end well – particularly with the trousers. The Temperley sweater, naturally, can we layered underneath a coat for protection, but the trousers are for special occasions only.

What I’m wearing:

Temperley Sweater, Joseph Wide Leg Trousers, Lauren by Ralph Lauren Bag (on sale now)

NEXT snakeskin flats, Mawi Necklace, Michael Kors Watch

Temperley Sweater
