Last night I invited a few of the most influential girls in my life to dine with me at The May Fair Hotel in London, at the May Fair Kitchen. We had the beautiful Chimere from Unsigned, Ella from Coco’s Tea Party and Laetitia from Mademoiselle Robot.
For those of you that have been attending London Fashion Week for years, you’ll be very familiar with the May Fair Hotel as they’ve been the official sponsors of LFW for going on seven years. This year they are collaborating with Mother of Pearl – a personal favourite of LFW designers – to create a unique window with the brand, as well as five unique cocktails.
The girls and I took it upon ourselves to sample said cocktails and can fully vouch for how delicious and beautiful they all are. Yes, it’s a hard life. From there, we carried on with a beautiful dinner that truly was just what the doctor ordered after a full day of shows. We got our carb fix with the bread basket, meat for strength from the steak and our sugar high from the most delicious and decadent desserts. Here’s a look at the Mayfair Kitchen experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Hoping to go back tonight to try the fish!
Let’s move on to desserts, shall we? At the close of our dinner, a dessert tray was wheeled around to the table. We all dropped out of conversation immediately and focused on the sugary goodness set before us. In the end, we went for a selection of goodies ranging from blueberry cheesecake to strawberries presented in the most delightful way.
I had to finish with what I thought was absolutely the best dessert I’ve ever polished off. This is a strawberries and creme cake… May Fair… you just killed my diet – shot it dead, in the heart!
