Dancing on Tables in Mykonos

For those of you following FFG on instagram you’ll know I’ve been in Mykonos for the weekend for a wedding. Knowing the bride is a seriously fashionable lady I felt some pressure to bring the a-game to the party so I packed up some of my favourite pieces for the main event.

The festivities kicked off the moment we stepped off the plane. We checked into the hotel (more on that later), dropped our bags and ran down to Nammos beach for what has to be one of the best wedding kick-offs I’ve ever been too. For the main event I wore an Issa London Poncho, a BabaJaan Panama Hat and my favourite Anya Hindmarch cross body bag. It must be known that I did not know what to expect upon arriving at the beach. If I had been told there would be dancing on tables, let’s just say I would have done some serious thinking on what to wear. Turns out, a loose poncho and some slingback sandals were the perfect pairing for the occasion. Between dips in the see and raising my arms to Pharrell’s “Happy,” the poncho worked like a charm to cover and swing.

There is more to be said about this amazing venue, Nammos in Mykonos, which is a must visit when on the island… so watch out for the full story later!
