First Look: Up Close and Personal with Coach Autumn Winter 2014

Last week I went to check out Coach. You may remember there’s a new man at the helm. This is Stuart Vevers’ first season with the legendary American brand and so many were waiting to see what the former Loewe designer would do with the label. His first move, and perhaps the biggest change, was to move Coach forward in the ready-to-wear arena. While Coach has previously presented collections of clothing, they have mostly been in the form of outerwear with a touch or two of casual sportswear. For autumn winter 2014, this is a collection that is runway material. Sure, the focus is still on outerwear with oversized coats taking centre stage, but there are also button down shirts, clever minis and statement sweaters. It’s a totally new feel for the brand.

So here’s your first up close and personal view of the collection from the beautiful shearling handbags to the checked wool coats.
