First Look: Touring West Elm’s new store in London

A little bit of Brooklyn just landed on UK soil, folks. Today sees the doors of West Elm opening on Tottenham Court Road in London. Interiors as you know it is about to change forever.

Founded in 2002 in Brooklyn, where they are still based today, West Elm aims to help people express their personal style at home. One look around the shop and you’ll think you’ve entered a grownups Candy Land. The brand is known for their unique offerings for the home, from rugs to lighting and everything in between, which they carry in all 59 stores around the world. With each new store launch they support the local community by including local producers in their marketplace, which we believe will be one of the biggest pulls to the Tottenham Court Road shop. You can grab a coffee, score some easy Christmas gifts for friends and continue to dream as you wonder through the 12,000 square foot store.

FFG got a sneak preview at the store yesterday before it opened to the public. Here’s a look at what we thought were the highlights. {Check out West Elm Online}
