Fashion Stylist Annabel Tollman dies at 39

The fashion world suffered a great loss at the close of this week. Sadly, news broke on Friday morning that fashion stylist Annabel Tollman had passed away over night. While official reports have not yet been released, news outlets are reporting that Tollman passed away due to a blood clot following a recent minor surgery. News first broke on The Cut, where the New York Times publication wrote a touching profile with a slideshow of her best styling work over the years.

Many, beyond Annabel’s close friends and family, will be greatly saddened by this news. Annabel Tollman was a woman that was very well known in both New York and London. She was born in Belgium, but studied at our very own Central Saint Martins. She is perhaps best known for her role as the first fashion director for Interview Magazine, but later left the magazine to style full time. Despite her career already reaching incredible levels of success, Tollman was set to sky rocket further as she was shooting a fashion based reality TV show with Bravo at the time of her passing.

Annabel Tollman has graced countless lists for best dressed, best stylist and most fashionable, more times than we could possibly list. But more importantly, she had a reputation for being one of the most charming people in the business to work with.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to this legend in the fashion world. Our thoughts and prayers are with those closest to Annabel.
