Busnel’s preppy equestrian perfection at Stockholm Fashion Week

Over the course of Stockholm Fashion Week autumn winter 2013, I saw a lot. When I say a lot, I mean three whole days of running from runway to runway for nine hours a day. It’s tough work but someone has to do it, right?

As fashion week came to a close I found myself flashing back to one show in particular that definitely left a mark on my memory. I’m a newbie when it comes to Busnel, but by the end of their autumn winter 2013 runway I could see this was a brand that was destined for FFG’s discovery. Riding hats with a fish netting accessorised some of the first outfits and I was instantly mesmerised. Then came the legwarmers that just happen to be the chicest example of the accessory since our love affair with them ended in the 1980s. I guarantee these beauties will become a part of my winter wardrobe. Never was there a faster way to take a chic heel and give it a beautiful boot-like leg.

Besides the tops and toes of the collection, the silk shirtdresses, quilted coats and fur embellished overcoats presented preppy perfection that begged for attention. Now I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that some buyers in London were just as enamoured with the runway looks as we were. If not, I’ll be jetting back over to do my AW13 shopping in Stockholm.
