FFG works with Innocent Smoothies on this year’s Big Knit

Fashion Foie Gras is very pleased to support Innocent Smoothies’ “The Big Knit” 2012. Every year Innocent enlist the help of expert knitters around the country to create special woolie hats for their smoothies during the holidays. With the sale of each “hat wearing smoothie”, Innocent donates 25p to Age UK, which will then make sure that older people around the UK are kept warm as the temperatures drop this Christmas.  It’s a great cause and one that I was all too happy to put my support behind.

FFG was actually asked to participate in creating a special woolie hat for smoothies this season and I was surprised to find that along side the hat my smoothie will wear, I was also knitted an “adult” version… which explains the picture above. I borrowed a style trick from the fashion goose and stole her heel for the design, adding a bit of fashion flash to the woolie world. It’s a great honour to join the ranks of Sienna Miller, Any Hindmarch, Stephen Jones and Sir Paul Smith, as one of the designers stepping forward this season for Innocent and Age UK. Now get buying and drinking, folks. The smoothies will do a body good and what you give back in buying will feed your soul!

Happy Holidays and thank you to Innocent for allowing us to be a part of such a prestigious campaign.
