Forget a dozen roses, Dior used 1 Million flowers to decorate for Couture!

Dior Couture Flowers

Fashion history was made at Dior this season. One million flowers were purchased, delivered, cut and assembled to cover every wall for the Dior Haute Couture show earlier this month in Paris. The show itself, Raf Simons first with the label, was a rip roaring success. However, it’s the flowers that have the world still talking about the event at this point, especially after the recent release of this video showing off the entire set up from florist to flowery walls! Some may call this a ridiculous display for a fifteen minute fashion show. However, this is the material that makes for fashion legends and this is a set that will most certainly be remembered as the best and most fragrant for Haute Couture Fall 2012.
