I do believe the pictures do all the talking for this afternoon tea. The Egerton House Hotel could just be my new favourite place to spend an afternoon in London. If you have a few spare hours, and trust me you’ll want to map out a large amount of time, head to Knightsbridge and settle in for some serious pampering.
Never in my all my years of attending afternoon teas in London have I felt so welcomed and so looked after from the first to last minute of the experience at The Egerton House Hotel. Then there’s the fact that your surroundings make you feel like you are in a stately home, rather than a hotel in the middle of a busy city. It’s an experience I will treasure and share.
I must also mention that I’ll be going back to do an entirely different review that may end in some slurred posts. Apparently, London’s leading martini maker is in residence at The Egerton House Hotel and after watching him in action I must say I’m a little scared that I might get sucked in and never leave should I go down the slippery frosted glass slope! But, hey, that’s another story entirely coming your way soon.
