These days it seems the average woman has an entire bag full of beauty products that they use here and there as needed when their skin is doing one thing or another. In years past I’ve had as many as six different regimes going at once. First of all, somehow I never got the memo that what I was doing was actually irritating my skin more by switching things up so often. So thank heavens magazines, blogs and other online media outlets are spreading the gospel that finding a routine that works and sticking with it can really make the difference between sub-par skin and glowing excellence.
Now, at this point you are all well aware that I’m always on the hunt for a bargain out there. However, when it comes to skincare I’m the last person to flake out on price. I am a firm believer in taking care of what you have in the best way possible and my Amex statements of old accurately display my efforts at finding the best no matter the price tag. However, I’m pleased to say that at the moment I am very happy using my range of sensitive skincare products and the whole regime costs me less than a meal out with friends.
So here’s my morning regime from start to finish…for those of you looking for some suggestions for future sensitive skincare scheduling:
- I start with a Simple skincare wipe (there are a few to choose from depending on your need). This usually helps me get rid of any lingering mascara that either wasn’t removed (out of laziness) the night before or wasn’t thoroughly cleaned out.
- I use Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub to wake my skin up from forehead to neckline and clear off all the dead skin cells (nice, I know!).
- Then comes the Simple Soothing Facial Toner, which is a new addition to my regime since starting a Simple Skincare regime. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed, andit’s the first toner that doesn’t make me break out like a 13-year old. That says a lot!
- Finally, I complete my regime with a sensitive skin moisturizer, Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15, which sets me up with my skin vitamins for the day and has an SPF that protects my skin against sun damage. Ace!
So you see… that wasn’t so tough was it? It’s Simple… ok, yes… that pun was totally intended!
