First Look: Temperley for Filofax new designs for September 2012!

Back in February I couldn’t stop telling everyone I knew how in love I was with the Temperley for Filofax planner. It was carried to every lunch, sat at every fashion party bar and was clutched carefully as I travelled through Florence, Milan, Paris, Rome, Charlotte, New York…and the list goes on and on. Basically what I’m saying is that I was smitten. This is one of the most stylish clutches of all time. Note, this is not an exaggeration.

Now, what I had forgotten was that this was not the only line of planners that Temperley would be making for Filofax. And just like that another press release arrived in the FFG inbox this morning informing us of the next installment. I swear “The Guinea” Temperley Filofax planner shuttered in the corner as I opened the email. My fashion family know what a fickle friend I am when it comes to accessories. I love an old trusted buddy but when it comes to newbies, I happily embrace them like long lost cousins.

What Temperley for Filofax have in store for the new planners should in fact strike fear in the heart of my cherished planners of the past! Due to be revealed just on time for September’s London Fashion Week, the new collection will introduce two organisers named the Violet and the Ikat. The names speak for themselves (and the mood board above gives away some of the fun).

“I’m
so pleased to be partnering with Filofax again to create a second
collection, especially following the amazing response we received from
the limited edition styles earlier on in the year. A Filofax is much
more than just a diary, for me it’s a place to collect inspiration,
write my endless lists and juggle my life. I wanted to turn it into an
accessory which can accompany you anywhere; from day meetings to nights
out with friends. It’s a busy world and still so important to write
things down”
says Alice Temperley, MBE
.

Priced at between £45 and £165, we predict a sell out! Check back for updates as you know we’ll give full attention to the line once it’s available to purchase.  And just so The Guinea doesn’t feel too left out, take a look at a flashback of her finery!
