Tommy Hilfiger launches limited edition trenches to benefit CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund

Tommy Hilfiger is at it again… he’s such a do-gooder! Remember last season when I went on and on about how fabulous his collaboration was with select designers to create totes for charity? Well, this season he’s back at it again raising money for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and he’s taken things a step further. This time around Tommy has asked his designer collaborators to transform a classic Tommy Hilfiger trench… no pressure!. He’s enlisted the help of ten previous CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners for the project including Albertus Swanepoel, Billy Reid, Creatures of the Wind, George Esquivel, Gregory Parkinson, Monique Péan, Ohne Titel, Pamela Love, Prabal Gurung and Simon Spurr.

There will be three coats from each designer and a total of 30 sold worldwide. So if you want one you better be ready with your credit card in hand as these original pieces come in at only $298. They’ll be sold in Tommy Hilfiger stores in New York City and Paris and will also be available on in Europe. The feel good factor: 100% of net proceeds from sales will be donated to the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund.
