Holly Fulton Autumn Winter 2012

Holly Fulton once again did what Holly Fulton does best! For Autumn Winter 2012, Fulton showcased her amazing knack for creating art deco-ish prints on garments. She’s known for it, it works and we all keep buying what she’s throwing out there because it brightens our wardrobes and generally makes a woman feel great. You can’t put on a Holly Fulton dress and not smile when you look in the mirror. I’m sorry but it’s just not possible. She’s got the feel good factor. This season Holly showed off a good selection of looks from turtlenecks paired with a-line dresses (both with different prints of course) to skimpy wave straps that run the eye of the viewer swiftly down a woman’s frame.

Looks I must own – the turtleneck raglan sleeve sweater in blue, the palm print sweater with matching skirt and the pink “x marks the spot on your chest” dress. There are plenty of prints to go around here, so please form an orderly queue to the left!

Note: If you are a Holly Fulton fan you are going to want to keep an eye out in March for the announcement of the Bicester Village British Designer Collective Pop-Up Shop! It’s not only going to feature designs from Holly but also from several other British fashion stars… stay tuned to FFG for more info!
