Fabulous Felder Felder Autumn Winter 2012

Felder Felder seem to be dressing a different woman entirely this season, or rather their customer is changing and Felder Felder are altering their own styles to meet the needs of their new contemporary buyer. Whatever the reason, the autumn winter show for 2012 was a great success full of a wide array of prints that were ladylike and subtle mixed in with various textures and a selection of hemlines. I walked away dreaming of printed mini skirts, oversized shearling jackets and chunky textured knits.

Note: Colours reminded me instantly of Rodarte’s prairie print collection and the darker prints made me think of Erdem’s prints. You can’t help but draw comparisons these days between designers. It is not at all an insult, in fact I do believe it’s a sincere compliment to both designers. Felder Felder have their own influences that allow them to create such gorgeous garments and yet in our own minds, we see collection after collection and you can’t help but notice similarities over time.
