Adweek wrote this morning about a great spoof ad that addresses the reality of what we see on adverts, in magazines and even on television and in movies. Filmmaker Jesse Rosten put together an advertisement that more or less makes fun of photoshop, the industry that embraces it and all of use that believe the lies we are fed on a daily basis. Will this change anything? The answer is no, of course it won’t. However, it might make people think twice the next time they tape a picture of a supermodel to their fridge for inspiration.
