A visit to Hoss Intropia for AW2011

Last week Fashion Foie Gras was invited into Hoss Intropia for a very special event happening in store on Regent Street! Every season the brand selects an “intropia woman” who represents the essence of the brand. This season it’s the American singer Diane Birch and she was here in London singing for a live audience in store! Diane follows in the footsteps of Carmen Kass, Helena Christensen, Tamsin Egerton and many more legendary female figures who have previously stood tall as “intropia women”. While paying homage to Hoss Intropia’s latest starlet we thought we’d check out the store and all that they have on offer for autumn winter.

First and foremost, we must mention that this is a brand that is designed for real women by real women. It’s a brand that encourages us all to explore our own personalities through fashion and they are known for supplying a great variety of pieces that will help you build upon that personality. The clothes, for the most part, are stylish yet relaxed. What we love about Hoss Intropia is their light approach to fashion. All of the clothes are laid back yet glamourous; fashion forward but with a touch of vintage; and most of all timeless but 100% appropriately on trend for the season. These are pieces that make you stick out in the crowd in a positive manner no matter which garment you choose to wear.

When you shop Hoss Intropia you’ll notice that the brand itself is actually broken down into three lines that exist under one collection umbrella. First we have the Main Line which is a collection free from all trends and focused on vintage inspirations. Then we have the Silver Line which is primarily sleek evening wear! Lastly we have Hoss Intropia by Miguel Palacio, a new exclusive line from the prestigious Spanish fashion designer which focuses mainly on party-wear. Within these three lines there really is something for every woman aged anywhere from sixteen to sixty. It’s rare these days to find a brand that can cater to such a broad spectrum of women but once you step in store you’ll understand exactly what we mean. Pieces are easily styled together to suit any individual.

Here’s a closer look at what we discovered in store as well as a peek at the look book for AW2011 which features some of our favourite pieces from the collection…
