This is so spot on it’s silly! QVC have managed to find a dead ringer for Julia Roberts and used the lookalike to launch their first pop-up shop on the British high-street! Why would they do such a thing? Well the pop-up shop is all about QVC’s range of imitation diamonds. Can you think of a more iconic diamond moment than the scene in Pretty Woman wear Julia Roberts receives her £865,000 necklace from Richard Gere? That one was a loaner but QVC’s Diamonique pop-up shop is offering a replica you can afford to keep at a bargain basement price of £275.
Diamonique is open in Hatton Garden in London and features pieces with a price range of £21 to £743. It’s already causing quite the stir on the high street with over 500 visitors stopping in to shop on the first day! Now I think the fashion goose might need a sparkle or two so it’s off to Covent Garden we go tomorrow!
