Moschino Spring Summer 2012

“Flirty Flamenco to Classic Cowgirl”, that’s how I’ll remember Moschino Spring Summer 2012. The invite to the show told the story long before the runway opened with the first model. It was a Flamenco fan and it more or less said “get ready for a fiesta!” What debuted certainly did not disappoint. When the montera (the name for the traditional hat worn by a Matador) appeared on the first model we knew this was no ordinary show! The Matador theme ran through the first few looks and then we moved into Flamenco dancer territory with relaxed frilly dresses. The show took a great turn towards the middle with the appearance of fringe everywhere! It reminded us of Ralph Lauren’s catwalk for Spring Summer 2011 only less all American cowboy and more Euro adventure seeker! All in a great show to behold.
