Bottega Veneta Spring Summer 2012

Bottega Veneta Spring Summer 2011 was both bright and colourful while also being quite classic and at times reserved. For example, when was the last time you saw an amazing cardigan set on the runway without feeling like you were looking at something your grandmother would wear? Tomas Maier gave us a couple sets for Spring which are as modern as classy cardies could come! He also gave us dresses that had many going weak in the knees at the thought of purchasing. Maier has a great understanding of what looks good on women and this season, more so than ever, he works with the curves of a woman’s bust and hips in a fascinating manner. One also feels again as if this is going to be the coldest Spring we’ve had yet as there were some many looks that could easily fall into an autumn winter catwalk. {images via}
