“Sheer genius” – that’s how we are defining Alberta Ferretti Spring Summer 2012. The amount of work that has gone into perfecting this collection is mind blowing! However, I believe the pictures speak for themselves. in showcasing that much. We always expect incredible detail from Ms. Ferretti but this is a new level of “intricate”! the unexpected twist in the collection is the tribal jungle-like influence on the lines and designs for the garments. This is a new Alberta Ferretti and we certainly like where she is going! This is possibly the first designer to make a jungle-floral motif look so femimine and delicate as tribals usually come out bright and strong. For Ferretti we see a soft side to the jungle’s madness.
