A few things I’d like to point out here. First of all, Natalia Vodianova is one of the most versatile models of our time. Vodianova can pull off nearly any look from a young Alice in Wonderland to a platinum aged blonde. It’s amazing! How does one woman look 13 and then 43 all in the same year? I am flabbergasted. This is what makes a great model, people…versatility!
Secondly, after seeing this Vogue Turkey cover for September 2011 I can’t help but feel a bit sad. In just a few more days we’ll start to see October covers released. September is one of the most important months in fashion glossies and one which most of us look forward to above all else. However, this time around the results for September were somewhat underwhelming. There is nothing about this year that will stick out in my head as spectacular for fashion editorials. The campaigns actually won me over more so than anything else. Missoni for Target, Neiman Marcus, Talbots and a few other surprises were the real winners for me this time around. Oh well, enough moaning! Better luck next year.
