Jeffrey Campbells sues Forever21 for copyright infringement

So the latest in the “copy scandals’ involves Jeffrey Campbell and Forever21. Apparently Jeffrey Campbell feel as if Forever21 are trying to make a quick buck in copying their designs and selling them for far less money. In fact, I’d say they cut pretty close to the bone when they spoke about Forever21 “having a business model that . . . focuses on selling knockoffs or cheaper copies of products designed by higher-end fashion companies”. We’ll let you know how this one turns out. Seems designers need to be a bit more careful these days. We’ve already reported on similar suits from Christian Louboutin vs. YSL, Givenchy vs. BCBG and Marc Jacobs vs. Christian Audigier!
