Claudia Schiffer covers Harper’s Bazaar UK July 2011

Claudia Schiffer looks absolutely gorgeous for Harper’s Bazaar UK July 2011. This is a cover to keep and place on every mood board for the rest of the summer.

The magazine kindly gave us some details on what you can expect to find inside…

Paying homage to the ultimate beach beauty, Bazaar devotes all of this month’s fashion pages to the 40-year-old supermodel and mother of three who rarely puts a sartorial foot out of place – whether dropping the kids off at school or stepping out at the Serpentine Summer Party.

Smouldering across 21 pages, Claudia Schiffer models the dream holiday wardrobe, sexy floral-print swimwear, and poolside dresses in playful stripes and paintbox brights, seventies evening wear and sensual white lace.

On her daily school-run looks:
“You can’t be too over-dressed or too sexy on the school run. It’s about being practical and comfortable”

On knowing what she wants from fashion:
“If I go into a store, I’m not one of those people who look around and aren’t sure. Five minutes and I’m out of there – most of the time I don’t even try things on.”

On her decision to create her own knitwear line:
“I’ve worked far too long in the fashion industry that I could just sell out. I always knew I wanted to do something that I would love myself, something to be proud of. And there was never a product I really loved. I’ve had a lot of friends who said I was insane. But for me, it’s not just about the money”

On her nerves over launching her own knitwear label:
“It’s the first time I have put my name to something. I feel very confident, but also very nervous. Who knew? Maybe it will just be me, the only person in the whole world who likes it.”
