Kim Kardashian’s Shoedazzle.com receives $40 Million

Every single thing a Kardashian touches instantly turns to gold. There’s no denying this fact. Yes, there was the case of a little problem with a credit card company last year but once you put that aside you can’t argue they have the golden touch! Kim Kardashian’s latest project, Shoedazzle.com, is certainly no exception.  This is a website which is set up to bring you shoes that suit your individual style. At sign up you take a test which defines your taste and everyday needs for fashion. Then once a month you receive an email detailing a group of shoes suited to your style and you choose one pair, which are always priced at $39.95. If nothing suits you just pass that month and wait to see if something is made for you in the next email.  It is somewhat genius. Apparently we aren’t the only ones that think so. This morning WWD reported that Kim Kardashian, along with Shoedazzle business partner Brian Lee, have managed to secure an investment of $40 million for Shoedazzle.com, by the venture capitalist Andreessen Horowitz. There is only talk of expansion at this point and no specifics. Well actually, there is one. Apparently they are looking to launch in the UK in the next few months!!!
