Harper’s Bazaar Spain June 2011 Photoshop Error?

Call me crazy but this cover looks doctored and this time I’m not talking about any slimming of the model or airbrushing of wrinkles. When was the last time you saw a black triangle sticking out of the middle of a horse? Me thinks a big of the anatomy was stamped out incorrectly. Oh well. Beautiful cover regardless for Harper’s Bazaar Spain June 2011.

Update:Oh yikes. After a bit more research it turns out the horse is a “Gelding”. Wikipedia defines this as:

A gelding is a castrated horse or other equine such as a donkey or a mule. Castration, and the elimination of hormonally driven behavior associated with a stallion, allows a male horse to be calmer and better-behaved, making the animal quieter, gentler and potentially more suitable as an everyday working animal. As a verb, it also refers to the castration procedure itself.

And that’s your lesson for the day folks. Don’t ever say Fashion Foie Gras doesn’t teach you anything!
