Gucci has a long and established relationship with UNICEF and has worked diligently to help raise money to support UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative. Their latest contribution comes in the form of a handbag for the cause. Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini has just released an updated version of Gucci’s bestselling Sukey Bag. The new bag will see 25% of the retail price go directly to UNICEF, which will then help to provide a quality education to children in Africa.
Frida Giannini commented, “The Sukey is one of our most popular bags, which is why I chose to create a new and exclusive version for UNICEF for a second consecutive year.” She continued, “Our support of UNICEF’s Schools for Africa initiative is extremely important to all of us at Gucci and we therefore hope this new Sukey bag will help to raise further much needed funds.”
