Celebrating Spring with Aqua Kyoto

Last weekend the man and I were invited down to sample spring with Aqua Kyoto as they officially opened their roof terrace to the new warm weather in London.  As we all know, London weather can be fickle. One minute the sky is blue and your arms are tanning nicely under the hot sun. Then the next thing you know you’re reaching for an umbrella to shelter you from the rain and a sweater to keep you warm from the sudden cold. That’s the way it goes being a Londoner and we all accept it for better or worse, right? Well, Aqua Kyoto is prepared for all the weather London can throw at it. There are currently heaters stationed along the terrace and as we prepare for summer the team at Aqua Kyoto have dozens of cashmere throws on hand to pass out as the chilly nights take hold.  Can you imagine anything more romantic than sitting on a roof terrace in London, Sakura Cocktail in hand, cashmere drapped over your shoulders and watching the sun set over the historic buildings surrounding you? As we dip further into the summer months I doubt the heaters or blankets will be needed but it is nice to know they are on hand.  As for the cocktails we sampled last week I can only say that they were so delicious I may have indulged in one too many. Combined with the lovely sushi and tidbits that Aqua Kyoto is famous for and you could say I was in seventh heaven. I would definitely recommend the roof terrace for a night out either with friends or for a more intimate affair. They’ll take good care of you, I promise you that!
