Jacques D’Azur…don’t know the name? Shame on you! Jacques was the definition of chic. He was also the biggest player at Cannes, in every sense of the word. He couldn’t be pigeonholed as a producer/director/actor/tennis player/chess master, for the list of his talents went on for ages. He was Cannes’ definition of a renaissance man.
In honour of this one man band, Stella Artois are producing a short film about the life of Jacques D’Azur, which is set to premiere at Cannes Film Festival in May. With quotes like, “No one could wear a suit like Jacques, we used to joke that he was born wearing a bowtie and sunglasses, but he actually was – I’ve seen the photos,”- this is one film you won’t want to miss!
Now, where does Fashion Foie Gras come in? We’ve been asked to imagine what Jacques’ plus one would wear while in his company. Keeping in mind it’s the King of Cannes we’re talking about here…this took some serious consideration. His leading lady would have to be at the top of her fashion game as the paparazzi follow Jacques everywhere…so here’s how we imagined Mrs. D’Azur… (we also thought this might be a good guide for all our lovely readers that need some ideas for what to wear to Cannes next month)
