Todd Lynn this season…where to start. How about we start with the basics? It was sensational! I’ve decided that isn’t a word that is used often enough and it was certainly THE word that was running through my mind as the show progressed yesterday in London. Todd Lynn, a fellow North American (Canadian to be exact), is totally rock’n’roll and he definitely rocks the runway with each new season we see. This Central Saint Martins graduate had people whispering “Helmut Lang” and “Rick Owens” throughout the show, perhaps because of his genius draping of fabric and gritty hard edged style. However, this season we were shown a softer side to Todd Lynn. He didn’t lose any of his edgy style but he did embrace new concepts with neutral and bright colours (I simply love the red capped sleeved dress) and softer silhouettes.
