Starbucks announces a new logo…

Ah…it’s a little march down memory lane. Although, if I’m being honest, I only ever remember the logo from 1992 as I was twelve when it was launched and coffee didn’t become a part of my life until I was cramming for exams in high school.  

It’s a big day in a brand’s life when they no longer need to print their name on their logo.  The little mermaid has become so familiar that they needn’t waste the space.  Congrats, Starbucks.  I know I wouldn’t make it through the day without your triple shot skinny vanilla lattes at the ready!
