John Galliano’s Dior show is the one show of any season in which you can expect to be transported to another time. You don’t just attend, or look at the pictures of the show, to see the newest designs from the fashion legend. With every model presenting a new look you are taking further and further back in time when the world wasn’t obsessed with technology and fast living. This was a time when women would spend hours getting ready to present themselves to society and thousands of dollars to achieve specific looks. Dior creates a world where sweatpants, tracksuits or any loungewear not only don’t exist but if you even mentioned the word a woman would look at you crosseyed.
