Salvatore Ferragamo has just announced they are launching a new concept alongside the release of the movie “The Tourist.” In “The Tourist,” Angelina Jolie wears a collection of shoes that were designed specifically for her (with the help of creative mastermind Colleen Atwood). Ferragamo decided to bring the idea of DIY shoes to the masses and will launch the Red Carpet project in which you design the shoes you want to wear. Six different shoe shapes will be available in 23 colours and you even get an option to personalize the shoes with a monogram. From design to red carpet wear will take about six weeks. And if the project is successful we can expect to see new options available every season!
