Last night I was invited to attend Loreal’s first UK bloggers event to showcase their fabulous selection of fragrances that are available this Christmas season. I knew it would be a good night the moment I stepped into the room, spotted a gorgeous Christmas tree in the corner, heard Nat King Cole singing “Chestnuts roasting…” and saw a suited gentleman with a tray of mince pies. All of Handpicked Media’s VIP bloggers were in attendance, including Alex Loves,Style My Wardrobe, Adorn Girl, The Very Simon G, Disney Roller Girl, Beauty and The Dirt, Diary of a Dead Barbie and many more (who I am so sorry if I have forgotten to mention you)!
We all enjoyed chilled champagne (which seemed to be neverending) and sprayed every inch of available skin with the scents on show! I have to admit a bit of a bias….I have an undying obsession with Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb and went a little nuts on spraying it before I left (so sorry guys, I think I walked out with half the bottle sprayed all over me)! I also have a new love for the men’s Emporio Armani fragrance. It’s heaven and it’s definitely finding a place on the boyfriend’s bathroom shelf. That scent turns any man into an Abercrombie model instantly. Don’t laugh! A good smelling man is rare these days and I speak from experience. I’m usually shoved between dozens of them on the tube every morning and my journey would be much more pleasurable if they all took a moment to spray some scent before leaving the house!
