Fancy a pair of Chuck Taylors from Damien Hirst?

FFG is pleased to give you a first look at the Damien Hirst for Converse (PRODUCT)RED Chuck Taylor All Star shoe. Launching on World AIDS Day—December 1, 2010 – this shoe will see 100% of the net profits go to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

This is not Damien’s first collaboration with (RED).  You may remember he sold “All You Need Is Love,” a butterfly print created in 2007, in the Sotheby’s (RED) auction held a few years ago. This helped raise $2,420,000 for The Global Fund to eliminate AIDS in Africa. Now that same print has been transformed to fit on a sneaker which will be available for those without an extra 2 million in the bank (and perhaps, for those who  were the underbidders in the sale).  It’s available in limited quantities so you won’t want to dilly dally in securing a pair.  From December 1st they will be available at Dover Street Market in the UK and online at
