This autumn, the UK’s hottest new online shoe retail outlet Sarenza, is bringing their inimitable High Heel Race to British shores for the first time ever. Sponsored by hot French tights brandDim, the Sarenza High Heel Race is renowned and revered in France, and takes place annually with hotly disputed heats across the length and breadth of the country. The race then culminates in an explosive, star studded final in Paris each November.
This year, to celebrate the launch of Sarenza.co.uk, the battle will be international, with 16 French teams facing 16 English teams. The brand is throwing down the gauntlet to the British Fashion pack, by inviting them to get hot on their heels and show their French rivals that the Brits can not only out-dress them, but can out-run them too!
On October 9th from 2-8pm, the Sarenza High Heel Race will sprint into London, giving speedy British shoe addicts the chance to qualify for the Parisian final, where they could be in the running for the ultimate prize of £2,500. At the London heat, girls will don Sarenza heels and compete as individuals as they race along the bespoke 15m pink Sarenza track. The four fastest competitors of the day then select their two stealthiest friends to join them and make a team of 3 girls for the final.
Sarenza will be offering all competitors at the London heat the chance to a win a £1000 voucher to spend on shoes in their Golden Shoe Box random prize draw. They will also be awarding all participants with surprise goodies.
You want to run but you can’t get to the selections? Don’t panic! For all those that can’t get to London, Sarenza is offering the chance for them to register online, where a lucky dip will select twelve more teams at random to join the British contingent in Paris.
Sarenza will provide the British qualifiers with travel and accommodation to the final in November and will even invite each team to bring along supporters to bolster the British spirit in true patriotic style.
So if you have a passion for dashing in heels and think Brit cool can give French chic a run for it Manolos, then get down to Truman Brewery car park on October 9th, or register now atwww.highheelrace.co.uk, and show us what you’re made of!
