I may be obsessed with fashion but I am equally obsessed with interior design and used to have no problem logging hours in front of the television watching home shows (this was pre-blog, naturally). However, the real show stoppers have been the series that combine both fashion and interior design, which is why this new programme I am going to introduce you to is so exciting. Plum TV is releasing a new 4-part documentary series presented by Cadillac and hosted by GQ Style called Style Innovators. Yes, I already clearly love the name! The show will follow GQ Style Editor Adam Rapoport on a journey inside the homes and studios of some of the most influential style figures around.
The second episode premieres Friday, October 22 at 8:30PM and features Simon Doonan, Creative Director of Barney’s New York and Jonathan Adler of Jonathan Adler Ceramics. The episode offers us an exclusive look into the couple’s home where you will learn what kind of TV they watch, where they get their inspiration, how they met, and the secret behind the Barneys display windows.
“Style Innovators grants access into the lives of fascinating people,” says host Adam Rapoport. “But instead of just getting a quote or two for a magazine article, this show and Plum TV allows us to spend an entire day with a guest—seeing how they create and where they find inspiration, and also how they live.”
Plum TV has been kind enough to give Fashion Foie Gras a sneak peek at some of the highlights from Friday’s forthcoming show…check it out!
