Isabella Blow was, is, a fashion legend. Her name is one that runs shivers down my spine when it is spoken. She left us too soon. However, she also left the moviemakers of the world with a great story to produce…if we are going ahead with being completely vulgar here. WWD reported this morning that a film is in the works.
Anders Palm, renowned Swedish filmaker, will be producing the film and a screenplay has been co-written by Max Newson and Nicola Brighton. The film will be based on Lauren Goldstein Crowe’s book, “Isabella Blow: A Life in Fashion.” So far there are rumours that Philip Treacy and John Galiano have already signed up to participate.
It is quite the tale, the life of Isabella Blow. Not even Hollywood could write a story so tragic yet real.
