FFG’s Daily Fashion Blog Recommendation: The Glamazon Diaries

This blog recommendation has a special place in my heart. It was one of the first blogs I ever put into my google reader as I didn’t want to risk missing even one post. The Glamazon Diaries is my personal recommendation to EVERY fashion enthusiast.  Folks, it doesn’t get better. I say that with hand on heart and even must admit that Fashion Foie Gras is pale in comparison to this shining star. If you do not already follow The Glamazon Diaries, make it your mission today to change that. Makeda Saggau-Sackey is the remarkable woman behind the Diaries.  This is a name that one day will be as important as Anna Wintour…mark my words…it’s the future…

Here’s a little bio on Makeda lifted from the blog:

Makeda Saggau-Sackey is the publisher and editor of the Washington, DC based online fashion magazine The Glamazon Diaries. As a forerunner of DC’s premiere virtual fashion site, Makeda embodies the resilience, creativity and passion of Washington style, attitude and culture, fusing fashion, philanthropy and politics to illustrate to outsiders that DC’s got style. She is native of Ghana, West Africa and calls Washington home. The Glamazon Diaries serves as a daily style bible for Washingtonians looking for the latest fashion news and trends, beauty and lifestyle products and how to find of-the-moment styles. The second mission of the Glamazon Diaries is to offer outsiders a birds-eye view of Washington life, style and philanthropic culture. Now in its third year, Makeda is expanding the Glamazon Diaries to other cities, creating Glamazons one city at a time.

Makeda, you are a true inspiration to every fashion voice currently putting their heart and soul onto a blog! Thank you for being an inspiration to us all.
