Bloomingdales are opening two outlet stores

People of Virginia and New Jersey…hear me speak! You are being blessed with the holy grail of shops in outlet form from this day forward. Ok, I’m coming down off my speaker’s box now. But I’m sticking by my point. Bloomingdale’s is in fact opening a fashion outlet in Potomac Mills (Woodbridge, VA) today! Then next week they will open a second store in Bergen Town Center (Paramus, NJ).

For those not close to those locations, never fear, FFG special ops is here.  The vacation mega land otherwise known as Florida will get two outlets in the latter part of this year in Miami and Sunrise.

WWD reports:

The outlets are marked by black-and-white checkerboard aisles, evoking the B-way in Bloomingdale’s full-line stores. But the aisles are vinyl, not the usual marble. The black-white motif is repeated on signs and fixtures, offset by pops of color from the clothing and wall art resembling designer sketches. The outlets also have polished concrete floors and exposed ceilings, giving them the utilitarian vibe of a sleek warehouse or loft.

So what labels can you expect to see in store? Well, here’s a small list for you to ponder…

How about Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Cole Haan, Paige Denim, Jimmy Choo and Gucci?  Yup, that list will have me rushing the doors the next time I am stateside.
