Yup, Cindy did actually say that. She was admitting what so many of us already recognize…that no woman looks like the women we see on the pages of our favourite glossy magazines. It’s always good to see both sides of the story when it comes to fashion and advertising. That’s why I took the time to watch the entire documentary by Jean Kilbourne titled Killing Us Softly: Advertising’s Image of Women. I’ll save you the 45 minutes.
