Lara Stone, the famed model who is now also the wife of David Walliams, has just signed a deal to be the face of Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans for the autumn campaigns. WWD is reporting that this is the first time that the fashion house has ever used one model across all three branches of the brand. This is certainly the year of Lara Stone!
“I have a long history with the Calvin Klein brand, and so it was wonderful to work with the house again this year,” said Stone. “It’s like being part of a family.”
Francisco Costa, women’s creative director of Calvin Klein Collection, commented, “I conceived my fall 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind. For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.”
She certainly does! Who will ever be able to forget Lara’s front cover of Love Magazine where she stands completely naked and yet as confident as any woman could appear! She has become the face of 2010 and it is not surprising at all that she would walk down the modelling path with a brand that has turned out some of the great faces of supermodels including Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova and Kate Moss.
