We all think that it’s our moms that give us all our good taste and style. However, for many fathers play a big part in molding our fashion aesthetics. I know my dad played a substantial role in making me the woman I am today, not only in the boardroom but also in the way I dress. I remember the years and years of fighting with both of my parents about what I would wear. We fought constantly. I wanted to dress like a tramp and my parents wanted me to dress like a Ralph Lauren advert. In the end I gave in and I’m glad I did or I may be working the streets today rather than having a dignified (if you can call it that) career in PR.
So this is just a quick note to say…thank you. Thank you for never giving up on me…
