Want to be ahead of the fashion curve? Here’s a hot tip for you – Roarke New York. We are going out on a limb here and saying that this is the next best thing out there for jewelry. However, we don’t feel it’s risky at all to make such a statement. If you are a woman and have any sense of style whatsoever you can’t help but fall in love with the necklaces, bracelets and headpieces available to buy from Roarke. There is something so special about these items and we aren’t afraid to admit that we can’t put our finger on what makes them so addictive. Perhaps it’s the intricate beading or the bib-like fashion in which the necklaces fall around your neck. Maybe it’s the designs that say classy and trendy at the same time. Who doesn’t love an investment piece in jewelry? Are you with me?
Here are two of our must have necklaces from the latest line:
The pictures really don’t even begin to do these pieces justice! They are amazing. What we love in particular is the fact that these sort of necklaces can be worn on the red carpet or the living room rug (meaning in a black tie gown or jeans and a t-shirt). And if you needed further proof that Roarke is absolutely brilliant…the celebrities are going nuts for them. Here’s a pic of Ivanka Trump wearing the necklace pictured above and Mary-Louise Parker wearing one of their gorgeous bracelets:
Now for a little background on this fabulous line. Roarke is fairly new to the scene, having only been launched last year. It is made up of two absolutely gorgeous blondes – Designer Mignonne Gavigan (who has previously worked with Marc Jacobs and Asprey) and former Bergdorf’s buyer, Laetitia Stanifield. Their paths crossed in New York City and the two decided to fill a gap in the market with these original pieces. Thank goodness for random encounters…we now have Roarke as a result! The press have gone mad for the line and the girls’ designs have been featured in Seventeen magazine, Vogue and Women’s Wear Daily thus far. We can only imagine what they will come up with next and hope to get a sneaky first view!
