MiH Jeans is a name that is new to no one that reads fashion magazines. It claims to be “The Original British Jeans Brand”. This isn’t far from the truth. Chloe Lonsdale, the current head of MiH jeans actually revived her godfather’s brand “Made in Heaven” (hence MiH’s current name) which was established in 1969. Jeans are in Chloe’s blood. Her father Tony founded the Jean Machine, Britain’s first denim emporium, and her mother was a top denim model. The stars aligned to create a child that would dress women from the Hollywood Hills to Notting Hill in fabulous form fitting denim.
The jeans all have yummy names like “The Paris”, “The Tokyo” and “The Marrakesh”. Our favourite for the new season, however, is “The Road Trip”. It’s fantastic aged denim with a style that makes the jeans look like they walked straight out of a 1970’s Vogue magazine. Made for a Road Trip, indeed! When we get our pair we won’t be taking them off!
It seems we aren’t the only ones that are big fans of the jean company. Celebrities everywhere can’t get enough of the denim legends.Let’s just quickly run down the list of those that have been photographed in these jeans: Ashley Greene, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Brooke Shields, Claudia Schiffer, Liv Tyler, Rhianna, Natalie Portman, Kate Bosworth, and we could go on for another ten lines at least. Everyone seems to have a pair! The London denim brand has taken over Hollywood…the land of Denim.
