Frankly, I think it was a bit cheeky of Hyundai to use the Louis Vuitton basketball in their ad without expressed permission from the big wigs at LVMH. It is a dangerous game you choose to play when you do cut corners like this, Hyundai. Granted, it’s good advertising for Louis Vuitton but it is always important for a brand to be in as much control of their image as is possible and this sort of activity from another brand blows that concept away completely. Tisk, Tisk, is all I can say….watch this space and we’ll report back on what happens in, or out, of court.
