Style Update: The Embroidered Fable Dress

posted on: Monday, 10 July 2017

I know, I know. Another embroidered dress. Pretty sure my American Express was shouting the same thing at me when I was purchasing this the other day. I don't want to even discuss how this trend has taken over my closet. I've bought a lot on the high street to service my need for embroidered bits and bobs, but I've invested the real money in the pieces I know will go far and beyond the trend itself. These are the pieces that truly are timeless, and therefore are worth a bit of an extra dollar here or there.

This latest purchase is from Free People. This is a brand I have always loved and I actually love them for the lest fashionable reason possible... everything I buy from Free People is so comfortable. I know that's like kryptonite to fashion people. Comfort doesn't equal fashionable in so many minds, but I just can't do the whole "pain is beauty" thing. If I'm gonna wear I really need to be able to wear it doing anything anywhere. So yeah, I invest in the comfortable things. And you know what? That doesn't mean they aren't fashionable. Free People is loved by the masses, and for good reason. Their clothes are boho chic (always in fashion), great quality and offered in sizes that are generous (thank God).

So yeah, I'm a Free People girl and loving it. This certainly isn't the first time you've seen them featured here and it won't be the last.
