Collaboration alert: Helmut Lang for Uniqlo

Helmut Lang for Uniqlo

Collaborations are showing no sign of slowing, people. In fact, I think this might just be our busiest collab year yet and the news on the street is that 2015 will be even heavier with festive fashion fun between high street and high end retailers. The latest news on collaborations comes in the form of a Uniqlo x Helmut Lang launch. Ok, so technically speaking it isn’t Helmut Lang’s name that will be on the label – it’s Helmut Lang designer Alexandre Plokhov that’s designing the collaboration range, and therefore it’s an Alexandre for Uniqlo collaboration, in truth. But hey, it’s all close enough to call it Helmut Lang for Uniqlo, and it’s the cheapest you’ll ever find anything Helmut Lang, that’s for sure.

So, here’s what we know so far. The collection will be available to buy online and in stores on the 22nd of September. There are only two colours in the collection – black and gray – and the entire range is based around sweats. This means you can expect lots of comfy separates. Prices are currently set to range between £19.90 and £59.90. Racked released the first images of the collection as a whole and it’s wildly impressive and worth a look.
